Cinderella
Thu 29 Apr - Sun 2 May 2010
Thursday - Saturday 7.30pm, Thursday 2.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 2.30pm
English National Ballet’s Cinderella tells everyone’s favourite rags-to-riches story.
Cinderella is tormented by her spiteful stepsisters and would do anything to attend the Prince’s glamorous ball. Rejected, upset and alone, Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother intervenes and transforms her into a glittering Princess who shall go to the ball. Prokofiev’s uplifting score played by English National Ballet’s symphony orchestra, together with David Walker’s sumptuous costumes and sets conjure up the fairy tale world of Cinderella perfectly.
