American Patrol is a tribute to the final six months of Glenn Miller's life, a period in which he produced and perfected a sound that has lasted 60 years and is still as fresh and exciting today.
John Altman (Eastender's Nick Cotton) stars as Glenn Miller, with special guests Michael Knowles and DJ Mike Read.
A full 32 piece orchestra (including the unique string section for that special Glenn Miller sound) will recreate the original energy and sounds from the BBC and The American Band of the AEF shows of 1944: big band, big sound, big musical theatre!
American Patrol is a brand new production being showcased for the first time The Mayflower. The show's producers hope to tour the show in 2005.
