David McAlister
David has been appearing regularly on UK television for over 20 years in shows such as: The Golden Hour, Red Cap, Mike Bassett TV, Harry Enfield & Chums, Poirot, Top Buzzer, Hollyoaks (nominated as Best Villain in the British Soap Awards), Miss Marple, ‘Cor Blimey, Two Thousand Acres Of Sky, Eastenders, The Bill and Brideshead Revisited.
His voice is heard in BBC radio dramatisations (Lord Of The Rings, Cold Comfort Farm, Kind Hearts and Coronets, The Archers) and narrating Audio Books (Adventures Of Baron Munchausen, The Wreck Of The Titan, Laughing Gas, House In Flanders, HG Wells Ghost Stories) as well as voicing countless commercials and industrials.
He recently played Kurt Weill in Ken Russell’s Weill & Lenya, and was last seen in the London’s West End as Ernest Simpson in Always (the musical biography of Edward and Mrs Simpson). He played Noel Coward in Sheridan Morley’s Noel & Gertie whilst other West End shows include The Sound Of Music, Peg and A Month In The Country with Ingrid Bergman.
David has also visited Qatar in the Middle East where he was the Leading Player in the new musical Aspire – To Be A Star.
David has recently enjoyed appearing as Oliver Warbucks alongside Ruth Madoc in the 2006 and 2007 tours of Annie.
