Epic! The slapstick is a hark back to the golden era of Farce but it faithfully recreates the spirit of the film. Michelle Dotrice as Mrs 'Lopsided' is brilliant but the star of the show is Paul Brown as Prof. Marcus. Sinister but charming. Better than Alec Guinness in my humble opinion.

Thoroughly entertaining! All the cast were first class.watched the original on video on the Sunday and wondered if the stage version would live up to it.Well, it was funnier! Highly recommend it.

Great show, was simply excellent the stage lighting was very good (as IMHO some shows we have seen at Mayflower were let down by poor lighting). All the cast were excellent the slap stick and drama mixed well the cast spoke very clearly and credit to the whole performance, the stage set and special effects were great the car chase and model trains added a nice touch. Before the show started they played old style music which added to the atmosphere and drama. Well done to all the cast and Mayflower for a smashing must see show.

Absolutely superb, All the actors were cast perfectly, from Chris McCalphy's brilliant portrayal of one-round to the sinister and cunning Professor Marcus wonderfully brought to life by Paul Brown. For me, however, the star of the show was Michele Dotrice as Mrs Wilberforce from the first scene to the last she was brillaint. Highly recommend seeing this show wherever it appears in the future!
