What is High Society about?
High Society is set over the wedding weekend of the aristocratic Tracy Lord. Her preparations are not helped by the presence of her ex-husband and some celebrity journalists digging for dirt. During the pre-wedding party, things come to a head and, by the morning, the wedding looks as if it's off... until someone makes Tracy an offer she cannot refuse.
High Society is based on The Philadelphia Story (which starred Katherine Hepburn, James Stewart and Cary Grant) and High Society (which starred Grace Kelly, Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby).
High Society is a delightful mix of light comedy and classic songs by Cole Porter.
