President
Lord Montagu of Beaulieu
Lord Montagu was the Founder President of the Historic Houses Association and President of the Museums Association and FIVA, the organising body for the control of historic motoring activities around the world. He is also an Elected Peer in the House of Lords. A keen theatre goer, Lord Montagu has been a Director of the Mayflower Theatre Trust since 1987.

Mrs I A S Gatward
Isobel has been the Chairman of The Mayflower Theatre Trust since 1990. Coming from a theatrical family, Isobel (then Isobel Black) started her career in theatre/television/films in 1959 by playing Miranda in Shakespeare's The Tempest for Robert Atkins at Regents Park Theatre. Isobel went on to star in many films and TV dramas before she was invited to become Chairman of the Mayflower Trust, a position to which she devotes much dedication. Isobel is proud of the achievements attained by the Mayflower team.

Mr M H Le Bas
Was appointed a director of the Mayflower Theatre Trust in 2000. Malcolm is Chairman of the Audit and Governance Committee at The Mayflower, having been a Director and, before that, Company Secretary of the company for 20 years. A retired solicitor, Malcolm chairs Business Southampton and is a Trustee of several local charities.
Mr David Chisnall OBE
David trained as an engineer and subsequently spent 35 years working in industry serving the Fire & Rescue Service at home and abroad. He brings his commercial and business experience to the board through his previous roles as Director, Chairman, and CEO of a listed company.
Mr T I Goddard, FCA, FCMA
Terry retired in 1995 after 41 years of international experience in manufacturing, the latter 21 years spent as CEO of Dimplex, the world's largest electrical heating business. Terry is ex-Chairman of the UK Association of Domestic Electrical Appliances (AMDEA), and was the industries representative in Europe for 4 years. Terry has been a Trustee of the Mayflower Theatre since January 1993.
Mr John Hannides (Southampton City Council nominee)
John was first appointed to the Board in May 2007. He is the Cabinet Member for Leisure, Culture and Heritage at Southampton City Council.
Mr Colin E Lewis MIPA
Colin has a background in Marketing and Advertising having been involved in all types of promotional activities including the Arts as well as the marine industry and governmental organisations. Currently he is Commodore of the Royal Southampton Yacht Club. He has been a Director of the Mayflower Theatre since 1997.
Mr R Primmer
Bob Primmer is a Chartered Surveyor and has been practicing in Southampton for more than 30 years. He has been a Director of The Mayflower Theatre Trust since 2002. Outside of work he is keen musician and supporter of theatre and the arts. Bob is a member of a local Rotary Club and lives in Swanmore.
Mr A W Rice, TD (Hampshire County Council nominee)
Alan is the Hampshire County Council nominee to the board, and was appointed a director of the Trust in 1997. He is the Hampshire County Councillor for Milford and Hordle.
Mr M D Smith
Mike was appointed a director of the Trust in 2006. He is Commercial Director of Utilicom and Director of Southampton Geothermal Heating Company. He was Executive Director of Southampton City Council for 19 years and previously Director of Finance for the Southampton City Council. Mike is a Chartered Public Service Accountant, and a Chartered Manager; and a member of the Advisory Panel to the Veolia Environmental Trust.

Wycliffe Musuku, B.Com, FCCA
Wycliffe was born in Kenya and worked for many years for Rank Xerox Corporate Headquarters in London, and later was appointed the first African FD for Rank Xerox East & Central Africa. He has been a member of the senior Management Team with The Mayflower since June 1995 in the capacity of Finance Director, and was appointed Company Secretary in 1997. Wycliffe serves on the Boards of Radian Housing Association and Options Counselling in Southampton.
The Director Trustees are nominated by various bodies. Southampton City Council and Hampshire County Council both nominate one person each every two years. The board also reviews the list of members to ensure all skills are covered if a vacancy arises. The skills that need to be covered are legal, construction, accountancy and entertainment.
