La bohème

26 - 28 April 2017

Puccini

Be transported to bohemian Paris where Rodolfo, a penniless poet, and Mimì, a seamstress, are head over heels in love. But in a world of turmoil and poverty, their hopes and dreams are crushed, and their passionate romance comes to a tragic end.

La bohème is one of opera’s greatest love stories and Annabel Arden’s sensitive and insightful production, first performed by WNO in 2012, was welcomed with open arms by both audiences and critics. The atmospheric set combined with Puccini’s sublime evocative score takes us on a heart stopping journey of love and loss.

Sung in Italian with surtitles in English
