Places to Eat and Drink
Located within a flourishing area of the city you will be spoilt for choice with the variety of settings available to compliment your visit to Mayflower Theatre.
The theatre itself boasts various options including the sophisticated and contemporary Ovation Restaurant – situated on the third floor of the theatre and ideal for pre and post show dining, business lunches and celebrating special occasions. For something a little more relaxed you could try our stylish and spacious Footlights Bar – the perfect place to catch up with friends for pre-theatre or interval drinks and light bites.

In addition to dining a la carte we offer unique pre and post performance Packages that include opportunities for 3 course dinners, 2 course lunches, buffets, canapés and more; to complement your choice of show.

Theatre and Hotel Packages
With our Hotel Packages we remove all stress by creating a theatre experience tailored to fit your needs. Based on double or twin occupancy, packages include an overnight stay at one these top hotels, private transport to and from the theatre, a 3-course meal in our fabulous Ovation restaurant, top price theatre tickets and a full English breakfast the following morning. Although both cash and card can be used for all payments throughout the theatre, the bars and confectionary till points offer cash back without a charge on purchases made by card should you require any cash.
The local area has three very close Cash Machines that do not charge for withdrawals. One can be found at the CO-OP Welcome on the corner of Blechynden Terrace and Windham Place, and the other two can be found on the front of Southampton Central Station building (Platform 1) also on Blechynden Terrace.
Our newly refurbished foyer now includes a large confectionary counter selling a range of soft drinks and refreshments along with various snacks including sweets, peanuts, pringles and ice creams. Soft drinks are also available at our bars, which are open pre-performance and during the interval.
We also have a new merchandise counter for a wide range of quality Mayflower and production-related items and gifts, perfect as a souvenir of your theatre visit. Some items are also available at the Mayflower Theatre Online Shop.
Both counters accept payments by cash and all major credit/debit cards using chip and pin. Outside the building you will find a series of newsagents and local shops including a Co-op Welcome, all within a 5 minute walk of the theatre.
