As part of our work to support the next generation of theatre makers we offer a bursary scheme to local young people. The Bursary scheme aims to support any young person, based in Hampshire, who would like to pursue a career in theatre whether that is as a performer, a technician or an arts administrator. This bursary scheme is being facilitated by Mayflower Theatre and is awarded to young people who reside in Hampshire. Through this scheme young people have the opportunity to access funding to support training or development opportunities that pertain to the arts. If you would like to be considered for a Bursary, Please click here to complete a Bursary Application form.
We are able to offer extended workshops and conferences for young people exploring a range of creative careers, in particular non-performance based careers. We draw on the expertise within the Theatre in Marketing, Sales, Technical and FOH departments. We are also able to call on a wide range of theatre professionals to deliver workshops on careers in performance. Please contact us for more information or to discuss your requirements.
