Take part in our monthly Mayflower 90 Lottery to be in with a chance of winning a prize of up to £8,000 per draw.

Draws will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, with one lucky winner being awarded 40% of the total lottery ticket income for that month. 

This is a fundraising lottery to support our Mayflower 90 Auditorium Appeal, which will bring our grade II Listed building into line with modern standards of comfort, access and efficiency.

Mayflower 90 Lottery Terms and Conditions

 

  • The lottery is open to all recipients, in their name only, except employees or Trustees of Mayflower Theatre and their families, agencies or other companies having any connection with the production of the draw.
  • No entry into the lottery can be on behalf of a person under the age of 16. If a ticket is sold knowingly to or on behalf of a person under 16 they will be exempt from the competition and forfeit their prize. We reserve the right to ask for proof of age.
  • Each entry will cost £4 per month.
  • Of the proceeds from each lottery draw, 60% will be used for The Mayflower Theatre Trust and 40% distributed as prize money.
  • The maximum value of tickets available in any one lottery draw will be £20,000 and will not exceed £250,000 in any year. The maximum prize available per month will be £8,000.
  • Payment must be made before entry into the draw is allowed. A unique number will be allocated to each entry on application. Mayflower Theatre will not offer credit facilities to players under any circumstances whatsoever.
  • Winning names will be selected using random generation software, with two witnesses present.
  • Winners will be contacted by post within seven days of the draw, and payment will be made by cheque sent using Royal Mail.
  • Winning names declared are final and Mayflower Theatre will not enter into any dispute regarding their validity.
  • The Mayflower Theatre Trust is registered with Southampton City Council as a Small Society Lottery.

The Mayflower Theatre is a registered charity (UK registration number: 294745). The proceeds from the lottery will be used to preserve and develop our building and support our community and education work. 

As a registered lottery, The Mayflower Theatre Trust is obliged to adhere to the requirements and objectives of The Gambling Act 2005. We take these obligations extremely seriously.

The Mayflower Theatre Trust has the following procedures to encourage responsible gambling and to encourage people to seek help should gambling become a problem for them:

  • Members can request exclusion from our database and/or from future lottery promotions.

Please send your comments to us at customerrelations@mayflower.org.uk, call 02380 711800 or write to Mayflower Theatre, Commercial Road, Southampton, SO15 1GE.  We will reply within 5 working days.  

If you are not happy with the response you receive, you can escalate your concerns to Alison Harrison, Director of Finance at the above address, who will consider the matter in more detail. 

We aim to resolve complaints about our activities within three weeks but if the issue is not resolved to your satisfaction, you can ask the Fundraising Regulator to consider it by calling 0300 999 3407 or submitting your complaint through their website.
