Synopsis

Ever wanted to learn Ballet?
Or maybe you want to revisit skills learnt as a child?

Why not join Mayflower Theatre in our new beginners Ballet for adults online courses? Whatever your reasons, the physical, mental, and emotional health benefits of dancing are endless. From better physical and mental health, to a boost in emotional and social well-being, moving your body can be transformative.

In the sessions you will learn the fundamentals of Ballet technique, looking at alignment and placement, building strength and mobility across the body whilst exploring the grace and style of Ballet to positively impact your wellbeing. You will enjoy time learning both Ballet barre and centre exercises.

This course is suitable for complete beginners, or those with some experience looking to improve.

You can join for one or both courses, each with two 1.5 hour sessions. We will embed and develop skills through all 4 sessions, however you do not have to attend course 1 to be able to join course 2.
