Synopsis

Welsh National Opera is offering a digital session for young people aged 14 – 18, wanting to develop their performance and storytelling skills from home.

Opera singer and vocal animateur Rachel Maby will take participants through one of opera’s most famous stories and explore techniques to improve your musical or dramatic performances including; warmups for body and voice, how to effectively communicate stories and crucially, how to do all of this when performing at home!

This session is ideal for singers and actors needing to perform exams and auditions remotely, or those that want the opportunity to experience something new this half-term.

Time: 2.00pm-2.45pm
Location: Online

We will run these online interactive sessions through Zoom. We appreciate that this may provoke a new set of considerations so have created an online safety document  which will hopefully guide you through any concerns. At least one member of Mayflower Engage will be present for the full duration.
