This term we are thrilled to be offering participants of Starlights the opportunity to create and perform in a brand new play Wind/Rush Generation(s) by Mojisola Adebayo, directed by Kirsten Skinner & commissioned by the National Theatre in their nationwide ‘Connections’ Youth Theatre Festival.
Each year the National Theatre commissions new plays for young people to perform, bringing together some of the UK's most exciting writers with the theatre-makers of tomorrow. MAST Mayflower Studios are proud to be a partner theatre of the festival as well as our Mayflower Musical Youth Theatre participating in the Connections Festival.
Connections 2021 will involve talented young people from right across the UK, inspiring & entertaining audiences with plays for and about young people that are current, challenging and resonant. To get involved with this exciting opportunity simply book your place.

Due to the difficult circumstances we find ourselves in, we are operating a new structure where you can pick a payment option to pay according to your situation. There is a 'Reduced' rate as well as a 'Supporting' rate where you can help someone access the arts. Please pick your payment choice from the three options below:
Supporting fee - £100
Standard fee - £80
Reduced fee - £60
Bursary - £40
There are bursaries available on application each term. These must be applied for every term and are not guaranteed for the whole year. These can be awarded on a financial or talent basis. Applicants applying for a bursary (which is half the standard fee) should complete their application before term starting accompanied by a deposit payment of £40. You will be notified by the beginning of the term whether your application has been successful.
