‘My dear mum was a regular performer at Mayflower Theatre for many years as a member of Southampton Musical Society and was always a very keen theatre goer. She was particularly thrilled when on her 102nd birthday Anton Du Beke wished her a Happy Birthday from the stage. Hence, a plaque on her favourite seat was the perfect way to celebrate her love of this beautiful theatre and keep her treasured memory alive.’ Jane
‘I decided to take a seat plaque at Mayflower Theatre in Southampton as it seemed to be a fun way to support the theatre and to record our appreciation of happy times spent there. Although we don't live in Southampton, we consider Mayflower Theatre to be one of our 'regular' theatres and so want to help it to continue and to prosper.’ Chris
‘I loved the theatre from an early age and, after five years training at Art School, worked in TV and Film as a Costume Designer for 40 years; so it is in my blood!! I am proud to support Mayflower Theatre, the plaque is like a memorial reminding me of the joy of seeing a variety of productions. It makes you feel a part of the theatre.’ Rita
‘As a regular visitor to Mayflower Theatre I wanted to contribute towards its upkeep and refurbishment whist also adding my own personal touch within the theatre.’ Denise
