Mayflower Creative Writers

Learn what it takes to create characters, settings and storylines and work towards end-of-term performances in collaboration with Mayflower Young Company and Mayflower Youth Theatre groups.

Participants will explore scriptwriting, creating monologues, duologues and performances through workshops and masterclasses, developing a portfolio of writing skills and techniques designed to transform ideas into words, words into actions, and actions into the magic of performance!

These sessions are free but we are looking for commitment. All workshops are suitable for beginners and advanced writers.

There will be opportunities to watch performances at MAST Mayflower Studios or Mayflower Theatre as part of this programme. Opportunities are likely to be once per term, depending on show availability, and tickets may be free or available at a small fee.
