Moulin Rouge! The Musical is celebrating the upcoming run of its highly acclaimed show at Mayflower Theatre in Southampton with a special performance of its iconic number Firework at the Southampton Pride Stage, Guildhall Square on Saturday 29 August 2026. The performance will feature Ann Sophie in the role of Satine.

The Musical which will bring all of the glamour and spectacular that the show will bring to Southampton’s Mayflower Theatre this September.
In addition to the performance from Ann Sophie, Moulin Rouge! The Musical are also sponsoring the Pride wristbands. Attendees are able to become a ‘Southampton Pride Supporter’ which includes the limited edition Pride X Moulin Rouge! The Musical wristband. The multi-award-winning Moulin Rouge! The Musical will be welcomed here at Mayflower Theatre from Thursday 24 September to Saturday 24 October 2026 as part of its first ever world tour.
As in the film, Moulin Rouge! The Musical celebrates over 160 years of music – from Offenbach to Lady Gaga – and features over 70 iconic songs, many from the movie as well as recent hits released since the movie premiered over 20 years ago.
