We've announced further panto casting (oh, yes we have!)

Alongside the electrifying Britain’s Got Talent winners, Ashley Banjo & Diversity, two more exceptional talents are set to star in Jack and the Beanstalk: the hilarious Kev Orkian and the versatile Anne Smith.

Ashley Banjo & Diversity, known for their breathtaking street dance performances, are set to play Jack and the family Trott, bringing their unique energy and charisma to the pantomime. Joining them will be Kev Orkian as Silly Simon, returning after a sensational season in last year’s record-breaking pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Orkian, an award-winning actor and stand-up comedian, has captivated audiences worldwide with his comedic brilliance and musical talent. His transition from a classical concert pianist to one of comedy’s most sought-after performers has been nothing short of remarkable.

Anne Smith, stepping into the role of Mrs Blunderbore, brings her rich experience from the West End and television to the pantomime stage. With an impressive resume that includes roles in Evita, Chess, Mamma Mia!, and appearances on shows like EastEnders and Birds of a Feather, Smith’s versatility and talent are set to add another layer of magic to the production.

You know us for our pantomimes filled with laughter, spectacle and glittering festive magic. Last year’s pantomime team, under the creative guidance of Michael Harrison, are returning to deliver that once more.

Michael Ockwell, Mayflower Theatre Chief Executive, expressed his excitement, saying, “We are delighted to not only be welcoming back Ashley Banjo and Diversity but also the hilarious Kev Orkian. We are also excited to welcome Anne Smith who is a wonderful performer and will be an amazing Mrs Blunderbore.”
