Our approach to ticket pricing

Ticket prices can fluctuate up and down across performances for some Mayflower Theatre and Mayflower Studios shows. This is due to regular price adjustments that we make whilst shows are on-sale based on demand.

Ticketing income is split with our producing partners who bring shows to our venues. Our share of ticketing income and the adjustments made to prices directly supports our charitable aims. Specifically, this income enables us to provide opportunities for young people, community groups and artists which you can read more about in our Take Part section.

With our purpose of offering inspiring experiences to everyone, we want to ensure anyone can access the arts, whatever their background or circumstance. In order to keep theatre accessible to younger patrons, we do not adjust prices for shows specifically aimed at children.

We monitor and adjust ticket prices to ensure a fair and accessible range of seats are available where possible. We’re committed to honouring the initially advertised price for the initial on-sale period of a show. We therefore encourage customers to book as early as possible.
