Mayflower Young Writers

Do you love writing? Come and work with a professional writer and take your skills to the next level!

Mayflower and ArtfulScribe are running a fun weekly creative writing group where you’ll try out different genres and learn new techniques whilst building confidence and experience.

Experiment with non-fiction, fiction, poetry and script-writing.

Participants will explore creative writing through practical exercises and workshops on topics like characterisation, dialogue, setting and plot. This term the writers will work on our Play Creators project where they will write their very own plays to be performed by actors at a specially invited performance at the end of term.

Whether you’re a total beginner, or more advanced, we’d love you to join us – just bring your imagination!
