Southampton Youth Wind Band

The Southampton Youth Wind Band (SYWB) is the top-tier wind band of Southampton and IOW Music, whose membership consists of young musicians from Southampton and beyond. 

Under the direction of John Hanchett, SYWB are rapidly gaining the reputation of being one of the top youth wind bands in the country.

Their concert, Windows of the World, will take you on a musical journey across the globe. The programme will include an original composition by band member Corey Wison, in addition to well-known music from stage and screen, and popular wind band classics.
