Event details

Join us for an unmissable event that will shine a spotlight on men’s* mental health stories through dance, art and conversation.

The Big Movement LIVE will begin with a series of interactive installations that are designed to challenge stereotypes, spark conversation and connect with ideas and stories around men’s wellbeing. Each one will shine a light on the struggles men face every day, proving that the things we think we carry alone are, in fact, shared by many.

Then the doors open to the studio, where you’ll experience live performances from an all-male cast. Through dance and storytelling, they will share experiences of mental health and identity, offering perspectives that are both personal and powerful.

Bring your mates, dads, uncles, brothers and sons. This is a night for the men in your life, and the people who care about them. By attending, you’re showing support and helping to create a culture where men feel comfortable to speak openly about their struggles.

There will be pre-show interactive stalls, activities and information available in the Cafe from 6.00pm

About The Big Movement

The Big Movement is a bold, disruptive campaign designed to get thousands of men moving for their mental health. Because we believe that movement has the power to make men better than alright.

Men’s mental health is a big deal.

And we believe it deserves a big moment.

*When we refer to men, we embrace all individuals who identify as a man and are inclusive of non-binary people who identify with expressions and experiences of being male.
