Synopsis
'One of the most successful musicals of all time' (BBC News), Wicked has been casting its magical spell around the world for two decades.
Based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire, Wicked imagines a beguiling backstory and future possibilities to the lives of L. Frank Baum’s beloved characters from ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ and reveals the decisions and events that shape the destinies of two unlikely university friends on their journey to becoming Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
This award-winning musical flies back to Southampton complete with all the spectacle and magic that make 'this lavish touring production' (Southern Daily Echo) such an unforgettable and unmissable experience.
Reprising their West End roles, Laura Pick will be starring as Elphaba, Carl Man will be playing Fiyero and Simeon Truby will be portraying The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond. Joining them will be Sarah O'Connor as Glinda, Donna Berlin as Madame Morrible, Jed Berry as Boq, Megan Gardiner as Nessarose, and Casey Al-Shaqsy as Standby for Elphaba.

Touch Tour
Thursday 13 June 2024 | 6pm | Mayflower Theatre
To accompany the audio described performance of Wicked we are running a Touch Tour before the show at Mayflower Theatre. The Touch Tour will take place from 6pm - 6:30pm before the matinee performance.
A Touch Tour allows visually impaired patrons and those supporting them, the opportunity to familiarise themselves with elements of set, props and costumes before attending the show.
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the Touch Tour begins.
