Writing Funding Bids CPD

Mayflower are pleased to be partnering with local creative professional, Christina Poulton, to bring you this fantastic fundraising workshop, as part of our Artist Development CPD programme.

Ideal if you’re working in a small organisation or producing your own projects, if fundraising is part of your work then this training will equip you with the knowledge and confidence to write successful funding bids.

We will cover:

• • Different types of funders and what they’re looking for
  • Planning your bid
  • How to write about your work and pitch your project
  • Showing what your project will do and why it’s important
  • Budgeting for your bid
  • How to increase your chances of success
  • Checklist before you submit

We’ll use lots of practical exercises so you can apply the techniques to your own work and there will be time to get your questions answered. You’ll get to grips with the essentials if you’re new to fundraising, or build your skills and confidence if you’ve written bids before.
